Information for a more prepared community
Knowing our rights is important for making informed decisions, especially when changes in immigration policy raise questions and uncertainty among families.
Through Know Your Rights, Casa Comunitaria de Recursos (CCR) created educational spaces to bring Dutchess County residents closer to information about their rights and the resources available in the community.

Gatherings throughout the year
Rather than holding a single activity, CCR developed this initiative throughout 2025 through community gatherings and partnerships with various organizations.
The sessions addressed topics related to immigration policies, executive orders, and immigration enforcement procedures.
This work kept the conversations going and offered new opportunities for residents to access relevant information.

Education and community collaboration
Collaboration with local agencies and organizations was an important part of this initiative.
Through these partnerships, CCR sought to make information more accessible and connect families with organizations working on immigrant rights issues.
The gatherings also offered opportunities to raise concerns and learn about community resources.

20 educational gatherings in 2025
During the year, 20 Know Your Rights events were held as part of CCR’s ongoing work to provide community education and guidance.
This number reflects the continuity of an initiative focused on responding to the need for informative spaces about immigration matters.

Our commitment to accessible information
For Casa Comunitaria de Recursos, community education is an important tool for helping people learn about their options and find guidance.
Through initiatives like Know Your Rights, CCR continues to strengthen its connections with Dutchess County organizations and institutions to bring information and resources to families.
